POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for managing a patient caseload. Duties include providing patient care including symptom management, support of patient and family, performing nursing procedures and coordinating services. This position has exposure to communicable disease. The RN assists in the orientation of new staff. Majority of time is spent standing or walking of short distances (up to 60% of work time), with frequent lifting, pushing and pulling of up to 50 lbs. (up to 30% of work time). Performs other duties as assigned. Frequent local travel required.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED
AR RN License, Auto Liability Insurance, CPR
DESCRIBE THE SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL AND SKILL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
A good working knowledge of nursing care practices as usually demonstrated by the completion of a RN program, AR Licensure and one year of clinical nursing experience.
